This game is revving to go, so we're going to start things off with a pre-opening TEST DRIVE MEME. This meme will be open up until the game opens properly, so please keep checking back with it and tag anyone who posts a little later. :)

TO START US OFF....

A. The mundane!

1) > You have discovered a portal to the meat dimension. Congratulations, you're at Chinese Diner Aiya! The rainy day challenge sure is difficult... But maybe this time you can make it.

2) > Every day's great at your Junes! You've run into each other at Junes! Maybe you're buying a Jack Frost Doll, or a magic set. Or maybe you're just getting groceries.

3) > Off to school you go. Class, quizzes, creepy teachers, clubs, and Social Linking ahoy!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

*Junes. Coming here makes Naoki nervous. He has no choice, though. He wants to eat. He's not in the groceries section now though. He's drifted off to a miscellaneous toys section and found the Jack Frost doll. One the one hand, it freaks him a little to see them here. On the other, his Frosts have always been a great help to him, in and outside of battle. Maybe getting one to hug would help him.*

*Nanna has picked up a little plush dachshund doll. It has a long body and short limbs, so it reminds her of Neph. So what if the head's not even close, a kid's allowed her comforts! There's no way she can pay for it, though, so she's just wandering around with it for now, clutching it close to her chest with both arms.

Which turns out to be a mistake, because she could have been using that arm to avoid bumping into Naoki.*

Oops! Sorry!

*Naoki answers almost automatically, turning to look at whoever had bumped into him and nearly made his heart stop.* No problem... ... are you lost? *This girl looks a little young to be out by herself, and the way she's clutching that doll...*

*Try the fact that she's looking up towards his voice, but not actually focusing on his face. Yep. Blind, and not even so much as a cane.*

I don't know where I am. This is a marketplace, right?

*The conversations at the front sounded enough like merchant business to her, even if there were some unfamiliar elements. She'd heard salespeople before in the Tower - her clothes were a bit strange, but few people would think a girl traveling with a Nephilim was a Freeman, so she could get away with mingling with Tower life.*

*Blind as a bat, no cane, no dog, no guide, no parent... who's raising this poor girl like this??? Her parents shouldn't have kids.* Sorta. It's a shopping centre. Do you, um, need security?

*She normally has a...guide? Friend, at any rate. But Neph didn't come with her...

Anyway, she's...not sure what he means by "security" here. Just enough lack of knowledge to not realize he means "security guards", which she would understand. She tilts her head, a bit farther to the side than a sighted child might.*

What do you mean?

The security guards, to find your parents... or whoever you came here with. *Being a commercial area, the first houses are pretty far, and Naoki can't imagine her managing the bus trip on her own.*

*If you can imagine? She did. She has a tendency to be able to handle wandering aimlessly and a tendency to look as if she knows exactly what she's doing. Even if she has no clue.*

I came here on my own.

*Michael must be so worried about her. But she has to find Neph. He must be here somewhere, he's never far from her! If only she could ask, but Michael told her that people here won't know what she means if she asks around for a Nephilim. And she's had enough confused or patronizing responses to confirm that.*

Oh. *Boy is Naoki's face red right now.* Uhm. Sorry. You looked lost. *Because you're blind, he almost adds, but he catches himself. That would have been pretty rude to say.*

Are you looking for the cashiers?

*Well, she didn't know where she'd wandered to, but she was wandering!*

Well, I'm trying to find my friend-... *Um, oops. Okay, Nanna, think fast.*

...I mean, my pet. He's got a long body like this *she holds out the toy*, and his name's Neph. Have you seen him?

*Naoki looks at the toy, crouching a bit.* A sausage dog named Neph? *Weird choice of eye-seeing dog.* I don't think I've seen one... dogs aren't allowed in stores.

*Nanna frowns a bit. She doesn't like the lie, it can't help her. And calling Neph a "pet" doesn't feel right. But telling the truth could be worse.*

He wasn't with me when I came here. But he's never far from me... *There's a noticeable waver in her voice. She's never been separated from Neph when it wasn't her own choice before.*

So he has to be somewhere, but I don't know where.

*Naoki is sort of glad this girl can't see him hesitate. To help, or not to help... if he helps he has to stay. If he doesn't she keeps wandering.*

Let's go look. *He has to be better than Chiaki and Isamu, right? He shudders.*

Really? Thanks! *Not sure how much help that would be, but...better than nothing.*

I'm Nanna. Who are you?

I'm... I'm Naoki. *He looks around to try and spot a long bodied dog.*

*You'd think it would be easy to find. You'd think someone would have found him already, made some kind of announcement. At least, if he was in the store.*

I've been looking for him everywhere. *pause.* Well, everywhere I can find.

*Maybe he's scared and well-hidden.* Let's try to find the information centre. Maybe someone found your dog and brought him in.

*It has just started to occur to Nanna what kind of hole she's digging for herself here.*

Okay.

*Good thing she can hide that.*

*Naoki walks Nanna to one of the maps of Junes. HE finds the information centre quickly enough, as he's studied the map of Junes plenty at his place to always have an idea of the shortest exit route should he start feeling bad or overwhelmed. He then walks her to the big circular counter of the centre, where there is only one staff and a short line to ask her questions.* Here you are.

*...Naturally, when her turn comes, there's no information on a dog named Neph. And Nanna can't describe it in any other way because she never asked what color he is. It may be worth noting that she never says "dog", only "pet".*

...I knew they wouldn't know. *she turns in Naoki's direction.* Thanks for trying to help.

Uh, no problem. *He pauses, looking at her.* What're you going to do then?

I'm going to keep looking until I find him. He has to be somewhere...

Are you gonna be okay alone? I mean...

Huh? *Nanna wants to hear that explanation. She tilts her head.*

I'm gonna have to go home eventually... *Probably soon, as he is starting to get uncomfortable. Plus, he actually is hungry, and Yamazaki is going to wake up sooner than later. He still feels bad for leaving Nanna though.*
