This game is revving to go, so we're going to start things off with a pre-opening TEST DRIVE MEME. This meme will be open up until the game opens properly, so please keep checking back with it and tag anyone who posts a little later. :)

TO START US OFF....

A. The mundane!

1) > You have discovered a portal to the meat dimension. Congratulations, you're at Chinese Diner Aiya! The rainy day challenge sure is difficult... But maybe this time you can make it.

2) > Every day's great at your Junes! You've run into each other at Junes! Maybe you're buying a Jack Frost Doll, or a magic set. Or maybe you're just getting groceries.

3) > Off to school you go. Class, quizzes, creepy teachers, clubs, and Social Linking ahoy!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

There are people that are just naturally youthful, no matter what stage of their lives.

[bystander]

And there are people who look older than they're supposed to be.

[reveiller]

[ ... just thinking of tezuka, yep. ]

It's just the way things naturally are.

[bystander]

Natural... huh? [He smiles a bit at that.] I think I would have accepted a lot of things as natural now, no matter how ridiculous it would be.

[reveiller]

[ a hum. ] Nothing quite like a lot of time to put things into perspective?

[bystander]

A loooong, long time. I just saw a lot of things. That's all.

[Then he waves his hand a little as if it's nothing important at all.]

[reveiller]

[ he blinks a little at this. then, accepting it for what it's worth... ]

Tell me stories about the things you've seen, sometime.

[bystander]

Hmm. You mean if I even have any in the first place. I'll have some interesting ones to tell if you really want to hear though.

[reveiller]

I'm sure you have at least a few. It'll be something to look forward to, once we get off this train.

[bystander]

It'll be like storytime around the campfire, without the fire.

[reveiller]

Even without the fire, it won't be complete without marshmallows.

[bystander]

Then maybe we'll need something like a campfire after all. I'd like to make s'mores. Bottles of water too, since those would make us thirsty.

[reveiller]

[ he thinks on this. ]

That's an awful lot of preparation. Do you think you'll have enough stories to make up for it?

[bystander]

If I start to think, I think a lot. [There's a small smile.] Stopping that process is kind of hard.

[reveiller]

[ ... kind of hard, huh. ]

It's not the same, but... [ headtilt. ] when that happens to me, I watch the stars.

[bystander]

As a distraction of some sort? [Ryouku looks over at Fuji with a bit more of an interest than before.]

[reveiller]

Something like that. The stars tell their own stories.

Thinking about it that way, it makes my own seem a little less significant, doesn't it?

[bystander]

Only you can measure their significance and value. It doesn't really have to do anything with other people because it's not, right?

[reveiller]

I guess not. [ he laces his fingers, and places them on his lap. ] But in the face of a universe as bright and as vivid as that... even my run-on thoughts stop. I forget why I was worried in the first place.

[ rueful. ] It's a bit silly, isn't it?

[bystander]

No, sometimes that's a good thing. [He sighs as if he's relating to that all in his head.] It's a very good thing. You can even see it as a coping mechanism.

[reveiller]

It's something that we all need in some shape or form, I think.

[bystander]

That's right. It's how we get brought back to our sane lives so that we can talk like this.

[reveiller]

[ he studies his fellow hitchhiker. ]

So that we can talk about s'mores, campfires and stars.

That's true enough.

[bystander]

Hmm. I think it's better than sitting here by myself and sleeping. Wouldn't you say that this is a bit more entertaining?

[reveiller]

And it's better than having my face drawn on. [ wryly. he smiles. ] I'm having fun.
