A. The mundane!

1) > You have discovered a portal to the meat dimension. Congratulations, you're at Chinese Diner Aiya! The rainy day challenge sure is difficult... But maybe this time you can make it.

2) > Every day's great at your Junes! You've run into each other at Junes! Maybe you're buying a Jack Frost Doll, or a magic set. Or maybe you're just getting groceries.

3) > Off to school you go. Class, quizzes, creepy teachers, clubs, and Social Linking ahoy!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

[This isn't the first time Fang's ever been on a train, but it's sure as hell been a while, and it's certainly the first time she's ever been on a train without knowing how she got there or where she's going.

She's just going to (roughly) nudge Lightning to wake her up.] Hey, Light. Rise and shine.

(The same can almost be said for Lightning... at least as far as waking on a train with no recollection of boarding it, or where it's headed. No, her last train ride had gone much differently.

Speaking of waking, she does just that— lifting her head suddenly and gazing around. She's on high alert, as per usual.)

Fang. (Her gaze falls back on the other l'Cie, squinting in confusion.

I don't think we're in Pulse anymore.)

[Fang stares back for a few moments...and then huffs under her breath, rolling her eyes.]

Morning. Let me guess, you've got no idea where this thing is headed either, do you?

[Fang's alert as well, but her observations are more subtle than Lightning's, discreet.] How about we take a look around, have a nice chat with whoever's in charge?

Or when we got on in the first place.

(Lightning shakes her head, driving her point home. She didn't have time for this... none of them did.

She's standing now, eyeing the length of the train car.)

Yeah. (Already on the move, too! She decides to head for the front of the car, impatiently prying at it...

To no avail. Let's try that again...)

[Fang stalks over to help with the door, but she can't manage to get it to budge either. She frowns.] Damn thing's sealed off.

[She thinks to glance around again now, and the frown deepens.] Awful quiet for a train, ain't it? Where are the other passengers?

[Hope can't remember the last time he's slept so soundly, in something so comfy and warm... it's not until he slowly opens his eyes and realizes the sun's shining through a window that his mind partially wakes up and fumbles for an answer.

For a moment he thinks he's on a train back home, with his mother, back to Palumpolum, and he's just been riding and fell asleep in her lap, like usual. He'd try to hide it, but he didn't mind acting like a stubborn brat around her. But with the constant clacking and silence on the train, his heart knows it's wrong. Sitting up, his stomach sinks as his eyes, blearily at first but then snapping to full attention, confirm what he thinks.

This isn't Cocoon, nor is it Pulse. Where is he? He's too panicked to think of anything else to do except stupidly stare out the window, too concerned to notice there's another person (and more specifically, Light), right across from him in the other seat. No, all he can do right now is try to calm himself and remember how he got on here. Which he can't. And he has no idea where this is going.

HALP HIM LIGHTNING-WAN KENOBI YOU'RE HIS ONLY HOPE? ;~;]
