A. The mundane!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

[It's not entirely clear whether Oboro agrees or is just being polite, but... well, that tends to be how he is sometimes.

He has somewhat learned Masamune-speak, and will take that at face value. He glances around the nearby area for a moment, then sets off in some random direction, moving as silently as always.]

*Is Michael at Junes? Of course he is. He might see someone familiar wandering the aisles. She picks up a plastic bag of candy, feeling the contents inside and trying in vain to smell them through the plastic. Then she feels the bag from top to bottom, curious at the apparent lack of opening.*

A4 Hello!

*Junes. Coming here makes Naoki nervous. He has no choice, though. He wants to eat. He's not in the groceries section now though. He's drifted off to a miscellaneous toys section and found the Jack Frost doll. One the one hand, it freaks him a little to see them here. On the other, his Frosts have always been a great help to him, in and outside of battle. Maybe getting one to hug would help him.*

Hello! Did you mean A2?

*Nanna has picked up a little plush dachshund doll. It has a long body and short limbs, so it reminds her of Neph. So what if the head's not even close, a kid's allowed her comforts! There's no way she can pay for it, though, so she's just wandering around with it for now, clutching it close to her chest with both arms.

Which turns out to be a mistake, because she could have been using that arm to avoid bumping into Naoki.*

Oops! Sorry!

[ staring down at, what is this thing. it's cuter than chopper. or, almost at least.. ]

*Naoki answers almost automatically, turning to look at whoever had bumped into him and nearly made his heart stop.* No problem... ... are you lost? *This girl looks a little young to be out by herself, and the way she's clutching that doll...*

*Try the fact that she's looking up towards his voice, but not actually focusing on his face. Yep. Blind, and not even so much as a cane.*

I don't know where I am. This is a marketplace, right?

*The conversations at the front sounded enough like merchant business to her, even if there were some unfamiliar elements. She'd heard salespeople before in the Tower - her clothes were a bit strange, but few people would think a girl traveling with a Nephilim was a Freeman, so she could get away with mingling with Tower life.*

*Blind as a bat, no cane, no dog, no guide, no parent... who's raising this poor girl like this??? Her parents shouldn't have kids.* Sorta. It's a shopping centre. Do you, um, need security?

[archditz]

[Why wouldn't he be? Everyday is great there.

He looks down at the sound of rustling and doesn't find himself surprised about what she found. It seems all children are drawn to candy. It was just one of those Things. Michael crouches down in front of her.]

Would you like to try some of these when we get back?

*She looks up.*

*She can't see what she's picked up, after all.*

*She normally has a...guide? Friend, at any rate. But Neph didn't come with her...

Anyway, she's...not sure what he means by "security" here. Just enough lack of knowledge to not realize he means "security guards", which she would understand. She tilts her head, a bit farther to the side than a sighted child might.*

Neph so cute.

The security guards, to find your parents... or whoever you came here with. *Being a commercial area, the first houses are pretty far, and Naoki can't imagine her managing the bus trip on her own.*

He is!

[blindfaith]

*If you can imagine? She did. She has a tendency to be able to handle wandering aimlessly and a tendency to look as if she knows exactly what she's doing. Even if she has no clue.*

I came here on my own.

*Michael must be so worried about her. But she has to find Neph. He must be here somewhere, he's never far from her! If only she could ask, but Michael told her that people here won't know what she means if she asks around for a Nephilim. And she's had enough confused or patronizing responses to confirm that.*

It's candy. A very sweet type of food that people eat once in awhile. [That's as best as he can explain it to someone who rarely encounters sugar on a regular basis.]

Think of it as similar to honey or dates. [Except way waaaay more intense.]

Oh! *Her expression lights up.* You'd really get them for me?

*Ration the sugar, Michael. She's bound to work off energy wandering.*

Oh. *Boy is Naoki's face red right now.* Uhm. Sorry. You looked lost. *Because you're blind, he almost adds, but he catches himself. That would have been pretty rude to say.*

Are you looking for the cashiers?
