A. The mundane!

[ As Equius makes some progress on his own meal, he makes sure that he doesn't forget about Hamuzou, spearing a vegetable every once in a while. However, once the girl mentions the sheer volume of food in that bowl, Equius can't help but be curious. So, he leans over a bit, eying her bowl before letting out a small "Whoa" as he shakes his head. ]

That is... quite a lot. They actually let children a challenge that difficult?

[ At least, he's making the assumption that she's a child because she's pretty short. ]

Riiiight before he finds Gamzee. Being alive lets him breathe and sweat, so... :P

[ No point in being modest when they both know how good his idea was. Equius takes one last look over the surroundings to make sure that there's nothing lurking nearby. He didn't see anything, so he just started walking the way they came. ]

((Sure! Though actually, if you wanted Equius alive but aware of his death, you could possibly take him from the page where Gamzee has wrapped the bowstring around his neck but he isn't dead yet. I'm totally planning on going that "instant before death" route with a character I'm thinking about apping next time, to get around the whole animated corpse deal. And randomly, I found out that apparently in the Ottoman Empire strangulation by bowstring was reserved for royal persons. Hmm...))

[Naoto is on an errand, getting groceries for the day. It's not often she actually goes out to do the "normal" thing, but her grandfather insisted. So, off she went. It's taking all of her will to not roll her eyes at everything she sees.]

I don't understand why grandpa wants me to look for these... I should be working on my cases.

[For Nanjo's part, he's never gone grocery shopping a day in his life. So it's a little confusing, walking around the aisles and trying to find all the things on his list. How Yamaoka was able to do all this in only an hour was beyond him; it feels like he's been wandering the store forever.

He's staring down at his list when he bumps his shopping basket into Naoto's arm.]

Ah-

[How did he manage to drop the stupid basket and spill his things all over the floor? Nanjo sighs in resignation, rubbing his forehead.]

[Ahhh, it's another school day. GLaDOS never bothered to check if she's actually a student, but she apparently looks enough like one that no one tries to stop her when she walks right in. She was honestly about to abandon this boring, obnoxious building, but then she'd discovered something wonderful: the science lab.]

[It's not a very good one, but it's better than anything else she's found thus far. So under the cabinets she goes, rummaging about for... well, anything, but preferably some combination of things she can mix into something dangerous-- for science, of course.]
