A. The mundane!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

*Well, she didn't know where she'd wandered to, but she was wandering!*

Well, I'm trying to find my friend-... *Um, oops. Okay, Nanna, think fast.*

...I mean, my pet. He's got a long body like this *she holds out the toy*, and his name's Neph. Have you seen him?

[ Mitsuru doesn't use trains for long journeys. Trains are for people without motorcycles or chauffeurs, or private jets. People with a normal budget. Which is why she wakes up with a start, breathing hard as she looks over her confined surroundings.

Unfortunately for you, sitting next to the sleeping redhead makes you the prime suspect, and the sole target of her glare. ]

I don't recall boarding any type of train. What is this? Some kind of kidnapping attempt!?

[archditz]

Hmn. You are welcome, Nanna.

[He lets her hold the bag, at least until they get to the check out, and stands upright again.]

How would you like to help me choose dinner? [Well. At least with suggestions. Which would help him out a great deal in the long run anyway.]

[archditz]

[The man sitting next to her wasn't really paying attention. In fact, he was bored enough during the ride to get his briefcase and take out his laptop. He's in the middle of typing something when she wakes up.]

Hmn?

[ Alright so, judging by his demeanor, this isn't a kidnapping attempt. The rest of the passengers appear to be here by choice, either chatting or keeping themselves busy with tasks similar to the man beside her. ]

I apologize, I must not have slept well. [ A feeble excuse, but it will have to do. ] Do you know where this train is headed?

[archditz]

[He's about to answer her as soon as he's done typing that sentence and...oh dear, he lost his train of thought. Oh well, perhaps it was better to try making a post later. For now, he closes his laptop, ready for an actual conversation.]

The next stop is the Yaso-Inaba area, apparently. [For a guy who looks so foreign, he doesn't have a hint of an accent to him.]

[blindfaith]

Okay! *a pause as she idly feels the shape of the candies in the bag.* Archangels don't normally eat, do they?

[icycution]

Yaso-Inaba? [ A pause. She leans forward in her seat, craning to see the view through the small window. When it becomes clear to her that the view is not one that can be seen from the Iwatodai monorail, she leans back in her seat, visibly concerned but not alarmed. ]

I don't recall having any business in that area. [ It's purely agricultural, nothing the Kirijo Group would be interested in.]

Ah, but where are my manners? I'm Mitsuru Kirijo. And you are?

[archditz]

[He puts a hand on Nanna's shoulder and gently guides her along as they walk.]

No, but I understand the basics of it.

[archditz]

[Well, neither does he, but he's apparently supposed to be here around this time. Why that is, he'll figure out later.]

I am Michael Marks. It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Kirijo.

[blindfaith]

Oh. *She lets the hand with the candies fall at her side.* There are a lot of things here.

[icycution]

And you as well. [And then, because it's impossible not to notice his western name, appearance and style of dress, she decides to ask something she usually wouldn't.]

Excuse me if the question is unwelcome, but are you a resident in Japan? It isn't often that I see Westerners, let alone in such a rural location.

[archditz]

That's right, Nanna. Many things for many different people. [Though it's been cleared up that this isn't like with Azazel. This is the actual future, not a fallen one's idea of it.]

It there anything in particular that you have always wanted to try?

[archditz]

[There's a soft chuckle.]

No, I am here on... [He pauses.] On business. I was actually headed for the Kansai region but I am...unsure if Yaso-Inaba is around there or not.

[Should he just stay on the train and see where it goes next? Does he get off and wait for a return train? Maybe he can try teleporting back to where he was...]

[blindfaith]

Um...

*Nanna swings her foot in time with the store music. She never really thought of getting food just for its flavor before.*

There was something cooking in one of the buildings we passed. It smelled like meat cooking, but I didn't recognize the smell of the spices or anything else.

[icycution]

[ That explains his hair and immaculate white suit. ]

Unfortunately not. Yaso-Inaba is a rather isolated community, physically at least. [ Concerned, she examines their surroundings again. It seems like a normal train for all intents and purposes, including the obligatory crying infant in the neighboring aisle. If it weren't for her complete lack of memory, it wouldn't strike her as suspicious at all. ]

Forgive me if this sounds strange, but do you have any memory of boarding this train?

[archditz]

[Oh dear. That could be a number of things. Let him think, hmmn.]

It was probably curry. [He goes quiet for a little bit.]

...I will see if I can find some. [That won't be terribly difficult. Right?]

[archditz]

[He blinks a little and leans back in his seat, fingers tapping on his closed computer.]

I...hmmn. I remember boarding a train but I'm not sure if it was this one, now that I think of it.

[Which is more annoying to him than disconcerting. He must have boarded the wrong train again...]

[blindfaith]

What is curry? *She tilts her head up towards him, slightly cocked to the side.*

[icycution]

You're not sure if this is the same train? [ That's...kind of weird. Shouldn't it be obvious? ] How so?

[ EXPLAIN YOURSELF ]

[archditz]

It's a sauce that helps other foods taste better. [As they walk, there's this void around them where other people would normally be as they move about and shop.

This is probably because people keep staring at and giving Michael a wide berth, but it helps with not bumping into other people.]

[archditz]

[He sighs and works on putting his laptop back in his briefcase.]

I am not used to taking trains very often. [He bites on his lower lip as he thinks back before reaching in his back pocket for his wallet, looking for his ticket. Just as a reminder...he gives the already punched ticket a once over and furrows his brows.]

...I didn't board the wrong train at the beginning. [It's a ticket for Osaka.] Strange. [Though he doesn't sound too beat up about it.]

[blindfaith]

*Nanna hears the people deliberately moving aside, but that's happened to her alone here, too. From the younger kids that haven't learned to keep quiet yet, Nanna had learned it was because they looked foreign.*

People are staying away. It's because we're outsiders, isn't it?

[icycution]

That seems more than a little strange. [A cursory look out of the window reveals a rural landscape, slowly showing signs of human civilization. They must be getting close, much to her chagrin.]

It's suspicious.

[archditz]

[That makes him blink and look around the store. ...Strange, he thought the humans were merely being polite, not actively staying away.]
