This game is revving to go, so we're going to start things off with a pre-opening TEST DRIVE MEME. This meme will be open up until the game opens properly, so please keep checking back with it and tag anyone who posts a little later. :)

TO START US OFF....

A. The mundane!

1) > You have discovered a portal to the meat dimension. Congratulations, you're at Chinese Diner Aiya! The rainy day challenge sure is difficult... But maybe this time you can make it.

2) > Every day's great at your Junes! You've run into each other at Junes! Maybe you're buying a Jack Frost Doll, or a magic set. Or maybe you're just getting groceries.

3) > Off to school you go. Class, quizzes, creepy teachers, clubs, and Social Linking ahoy!

4) > So you need some money to buy that Rise doll you saw at Junes, why not get a job? Frustrating co-workers, meeting people you may or may not recognize as customers. Get ready for the usual "I didn't know you worked here!" talk, because it's coming your way.

B. The extraordinary!

1) > You wake up on a mysterious train, and so has the person right next to you. You have no idea what train this is, where it's headed, or how you came to be there, and it seems like neither does your new friend. Why not chat about it?

2) > Your first venture inside the TV World. How does it go? How do you get there? And most importantly, who are you going with?

3) > There are three enemies! But holy shit this is your first fight, how are you going to handle this? Good thing you've got party members to help you out!

[Junes, Junes, Junes. She still hasn't gotten used to the idea of shopping for anything other than necessities, but Namine currently finds herself hanging around the electronics department, staring at some tablets. She's heard some thing around school about how useful they are for drawing and creating art, and while she might understand computers, things like tablets and MP3s and game systems and the internet...

She's all very lost and confused by this still. Darn confusing Inaba.]

[Aigis isn't particularly good with them either. Mostly because most tablets and touch MP3 players are heat sensitive. And wouldn't you know it--her fingertips aren't warm. Pressure sensitive ones work, though. :|A

Regardless, it's important to meet people and absorb information, at least as long as she's here, and all. Small talk. She can do that, right? It's difficult, but she's got this--]

There is a very wide selection of things available at this store...

[Okay so she's bad at it.]

[The comment pulls her away from her thoughts, blinking at the other girl and-- was that some sort of fancy new headphones or something? They were kind of pretty.]

It's a lot bigger than some of the other ones around. [A beat, and she sounds sheepish.] I've even gotten lost...

[Oh god, this is making two of them. Why is small talk so hard.]

[Totally headphones. Totally.]

Yes, it's much larger than any of the shops in the shopping district... though it's smaller than some in other areas...

[They are the best at it. Clearly.]

[The only reasonable explanation. Like a white bodysuit underneath her uniform.

She's looking surprised at that. Hello, inexperience and a history of being a shut in.]

This... is smaller?

[It's a skin condition.

Aigis is passive about the idea--it's simple to explain.]

In areas where there are more people, there are much larger stores. In some cases, there are also malls, which are buildings made up simply of shops. While Junes is large, there are larger.

All right, Aigis.

[ yukari's still not sure how much she likes the manner of entering the shadow world here in inaba, but this is where they have to go to train, and she's got to keep her skills up. ]

Let's just—[ she huffs a little, still not completely okay with having aigis here of all people from s.e.e.s to be around, but the robot is better than going in on her own. ] Let's get this over with.

[Well, to be fair it's probably a lot better than the Dark Hour--safer, too, in a way. Not that Aigis has any real opinion on it. Defeat things, go to school, pretend to be normal, defeat more things, pretend to be normal, defeat things again--it's really a cycle.

There was a time when Yukari's callousness would've hurt. But she's wiped most of the emotion from anything. Yukari is just a teammate, again. One she would fight beside, and if necessary, protect. Feeling any sort of way about it would just get in the way.]

Yes. It's better done now than stalling.

[... You act like this is even an option. Awkward questions always gets the vote.]

[ welp, it's off to the bathhouse with them, though yukari can't for the life of her figure out why, exactly, they agreed to go here. maybe it was the lure of stronger enemies, or maybe it was just the fact that yukari would be able to sweat off a few more pounds than usual by throwing herself into this workout full-force.

either way, she ends up stripping off her sweater as they get into the doorway of the bad bad house, tying it around her waist as she walks through the steam. ]

Heh, maybe this is a bad idea. We don't want your gears to get rusty.

[ ... not stopping her. ]

I was built to withstand much more than this. I do not rust.

[The idea surprises her, especially from Yukari, who's seen her interact with a great deal of water before, right down to going into the ocean. It's been a long time, though, and Aigis can't blame her for wanting to put the memories away. It stings, a little to think of those times, even when Aigis has largely ignored her emotions for the past years.]

I am more concerned that you'll become sick. It is normally not recommended to physically exert yourself at such high temperatures. Are you sure you'll be all right?

[It's not a dig at Yukari, even if she might take it as such.]

I guess the best way to deal with Shadows is the tried and true method, huh, Aigis?

[fumbling with his evoker, Junpei bites his lower lip; the fear of death is very real, even after all of these years]

...

[Junpei glances at Aigis, to see if she's hesitating at all, either.]

I see no reason to change what has worked so far. [Aigis has lost that fear, standing straight, adjusting her weaponry. Her face is set into a determined frown.]

The circumstances have changed, but there is no reason we wouldn't be able to defeat them just as easily as before.

I guess so.

[Junpei's still a bit hesitant, but if anythign went wrong, Ai-chan was more than going to help him. Probably.]

Persona!
